“Wilderness Road”

For those that may not happen to know it yet–FIRE was here. FIRE School of Ministry is a minstry training school based in Concord, North Carolina, and birthed out of the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida. This past August they came out for their “Immersion,” which was an orientation retreat-type time for them to get immersed into the things of God and to get to know one another better before the school year started. It was transformational. We were blessed in the preparation, and blessed to be a part of the Immersion. God really seemed to emphasize the truth of how He sees us through the Blood of Jesus, even when we have no great reasons for Him to even like us. How awesome! “Somehow my weak glance has overwhelmed You; somehow my weak love has stolen away Your heart” (from the song Dark but Lovely by Sarah Edwards) Praise God!
